What Is a Promotional Products Wholesale Supplier?

What Is a Promotional Products Wholesale Supplier?

As you can tell from our salespromotions.org site we look at all avenues to help your sales promotion program to be successful. And that includes promotional products. These are the branded promo items that help keep your name and brand in the forefront of your clients and prospects minds.

As such we work with a promotional products wholesale supplier to provide us with items that can be imprinted with your logo. Many of the promotional products wholesale suppliers specialize in a particular product category. For

instance they may specialize in drinkware or writing instruments or computer accessories. Or sometimes it is the imprinting process that dictates the type of products a company may offer. There are many imprinting processes from silkscreening and pad printing to laser engraving or debossing that help to show case your logo appropriately on promo items. And choosing the right promotional products wholesale supplier is paramount for us to ensure that you (a client) receive quality promotional items, imprinted correctly and delivered on time.

Advertising Specialty Institute Key Resource

There are literally thousands of companies to choose from, so how do we know the best ones? Well, most companies that work in the promotional products business are members of the Advertising Specialty Institute (ASI). A member is either a supplier (importer or manufacturer) or a distributor (seller). There are approximately 25,000 firms that are “certified “ASI members and ASI helps to facilitate the two groups by providing resources for us to learn about each other. There is also a rating system that lets us know from our peers if the company does what they say they can do. That database of information is crucial to us. While we have our “stable” of tried and true partners in the industry sometimes you need promotional items that they do not offer so you look for a new partner. ASI helps us to make a more informed decision.

We have been a distributor member of the Advertising Specialty Institute for more than 20 years and have many great partners. They work with us partly because of our consistency of quality projects, of course we pay on time and we’re nice. Yes, nice. It’s amazing the stories we hear from some of our partners at how they get yelled at. Do people not realize how much more success you have with honey and not vinegar? Yes, it’s an old adage but it still holds true today.

I do believe it’s why we’ve been around as long as we have been and are still independent. Our level of customer service is high and we truly try to treat everyone how we would like to be treated, with honesty and respect.

Promotional Items are Useful

As you can see, we are very serious about promotional products. We don’t approach them as a “throw away” item that some like to think they are. We approach them as an integral of your sales promotional program because they are mostly very useful items that are kept and are given with no obligation at all. It’s that one advertising item that you may give away that the recipient actually says thank you for. Or may call and ask for another for a colleague. You don’t get that kind of response from other advertising – why would you? The TV, print or radio advertisement, while it may be interesting, is not necessarily useful to them.

So next time you are reviewing your promotional marketing program, make sure that you are including quality promotional items that will expand your brand recognition for months to come that are produced by a quality promotional products wholesale supplier.
